South Africa – Titan Secure, a global vehicle security technology company, is proud to announce that it has been named Company Innovation of the Year Winner in the 2026 BIG Innovation Awards, a global recognition programme honouring companies, products, and leaders who are transforming industries through applied innovation, intelligent platforms, and measurable real-world impact.
“The 2026 BIG Innovation Awards winners show that true innovation is no longer about chasing the latest buzzwords,” said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer at the Business Intelligence Group. “It’s about building intelligent platforms, automating workflows with purpose, and making trust, privacy, and resilience the foundation of every breakthrough. These organisations and leaders are not just keeping pace with change, they are shaping the future of global business.”
Titan Secure was recognised for redefining vehicle security through a prevention-first protection model, replacing reactive recovery with proactive theft prevention. Its advanced anti-theft and tracking device combines smart patented engine-lock technology, tamper detection, live GPS tracking, and in South Africa, armed response. This multi-layered system has achieved a 100% theft-prevention record, delivered over R60 million ($3.3 million USD) in verified insurance savings, and driven 1,030% year-on-year growth.
In the United States, Titan Secure’s technology has been validated in live law-enforcement operations. Working with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office in New Mexico, Titan-enabled bait vehicles resulted in multiple safe arrests without high-speed pursuits or public risk. Sheriff John Allen confirmed Titan delivers “a level of control and real-time immobilisation that goes far beyond conventional GPS-based systems.”
“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition,” said Marcel , Co-CEO of Titan Secure. “This award validates our belief that innovation should prevent harm before it happens. Titan Secure proves that advanced technology can protect people, assets, insurers, and communities, all while delivering measurable commercial value.”
In the past year alone, Titan Secure protected nearly 5,000 vehicles across South Africa and the United States, generated R25 million ($1.44 million USD) in 2025 revenue, and is forecasting R107 million ($6.18 million USD) for 2026. The company has also reduced hardware costs by 70%, supporting its mission to commoditize protection and scale globally. A United Kingdom launch is planned for 2026, with integrations already live across electric vehicles, motorcycles, and trucks.
Titan Secure joins 159 winners recognised for their contributions to innovation across health, financial services, logistics, manufacturing, and enterprise technology. The 2026 BIG Innovation Awards winners reveal a clear trend: innovation is no longer about just having AI, it’s about how you use it. Winners are building platforms, automating workflows, and focusing on trust, privacy, and security as core to their mission.
