What is Titan Secure?
Titan Secure is an advanced vehicle protection system that combines anti-theft technology, certified GPS tracking, and 24/7 support in one integrated solution. It is designed to prevent theft before it happens, not just recover your vehicle afterwards.
How is Titan different from a normal tracking device?
Traditional tracking systems focus on locating a vehicle after it has been stolen. Titan Secure adds preventative protection, including engine immobilisation and tamper detection, so your vehicle stays where you parked it. Tracking is included as a backup.
Does Titan Secure include GPS tracking?
Yes. Every Titan Secure system includes fully certified GPS tracking, recognised by major South African insurers.
Do I need a separate tracking device?
No. Titan Secure includes built-in tracking. A second device is only required if your insurer specifically requests it.
How do I arm the system?
Titan Secure automatically arms a few seconds after you switch off your vehicle. You can also arm it manually using your remote or the mobile app.
How do I disarm the system?
You can disarm your vehicle using:
- The Bluetooth remote (within ±5 metres)
- The Titan mobile app
- The 24/7 call centre (remote assistance)
What happens if I lose my remote?
You can still access your vehicle using the mobile app or by contacting the call centre for remote assistance.
What features does Titan Secure include?
Titan Secure combines multiple layers of protection, including:
- Engine immobilisation (smart engine lock)
- Tamper detection and alerts
- Remote fuel cut
- GPS tracking
- Mobile app access
- 24/7 support and emergency assistance
Does Titan have a mobile app?
Yes. The Titan app allows you to:
- Arm/disarm your vehicle
- View tracking and alerts
- Access support
- Trigger emergency assistance
Does Titan work with all vehicles?
Titan Secure supports most modern vehicles. Compatibility is confirmed based on your vehicle’s make, model, and year before installation.
Who installs the system?
Installations are done by trained Titan technicians using specialised tools and strict quality control processes.
How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes around 2 hours, depending on the vehicle.
Where can installation take place?
We come to you — at your home, office, or any secure location. Alternatively, installation can be done at a Titan-approved fitment centre.
Will Titan affect my vehicle warranty?
Titan installs using dealer best practices and original equipment standards to avoid warranty issues. If a verified installation-related issue occurs, Titan’s warranty covers the repair.
Can I transfer the system to another vehicle?
Yes. The device can be removed and reinstalled in a new vehicle (labour costs apply).
What payment options are available?
Titan Secure offers flexible options:
- Monthly subscription
- Upfront payment
- Hybrid (part upfront, part monthly)
- Finance options
Is installation included?
Yes. Installation is included in all packages.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Pricing is transparent, and all costs are confirmed during the quote process.
Can I cancel my contract?
Yes, but early cancellation fees may apply depending on your agreement.
Do monthly fees increase over time?
No. Your monthly premium remains fixed for the duration of your contract.
Does Titan work with insurance providers?
Yes. Titan Secure is recognised by major South African insurers as a vehicle security solution.
Can Titan reduce my insurance premium?
In many cases, yes. Some insurers offer reduced premiums due to the added security. This depends on your insurer and policy.
Is Titan suitable for fleets?
Yes. Titan offers solutions for businesses managing multiple vehicles, combining protection, tracking, and support in one system.
Can Titan be installed at our business premises?
Yes, provided the installation location is secure and suitable.
How do we get started with a fleet rollout?
Contact the Titan team with your fleet details, and a tailored solution will be provided.
What support is available?
Titan provides:
- 24/7 emergency assistance
- Technical support
- Customer support via call centre and WhatsApp
What should I do in an emergency?
Contact the Titan Secure call centre immediately for assistance.
What happens after I request a quote?
A Titan consultant will:
- Confirm your vehicle details
- Check compatibility
- Recommend the best package
- Guide you through installation
Does Titan Secure come with a warranty?
Yes. Titan Secure includes a 36-month warranty on both the hardware and installation.
